How can we help you?

The Verify URL step of the process is returning an error. What does this mean?

There are two common reasons for an error in the Verify URL process. Either the tag is malformed or the Verify URL process is unable to identify that the tag is on the page. The latter reason is often the case if the tag is included in a separate ‘include' file. To ensure that the tag is implemented properly, please confirm that the tag appears exactly as it does when it was generated in comScore Direct. Other options for verifying the URL manually is to view the tag via the page source in the header or after the <body> tag or utilizing a tool such as Firebug or Fiddler to confirm that the tag is firing on page load.
